Our Features

Don’t let ‘uh-oh’ ruin your ‘I Do’.

Weddings and civil ceremonies are unforgettable milestones - beautiful, emotional, and yes, a little pricey!
At iDoinsurance.co.uk, we get it. Even the best-laid plans can take an unexpected detour (like a missing caterer or a camera-shy photographer). That’s why we’re here - to help protect your big day and keep the surprises romantic, not stressful
From vanishing cakes to no-show DJs, we’ve got your back. With iDoinsurance.co.uk, the only drama should be on the dancefloor - not in your wallet.
For better, for worse- but never uninsured.

Cancellation Cover

With iDoinsurance.co.uk, your big day is protected—even if it doesn’t go ahead as planned. From last-minute cancellations to unexpected hiccups, we’ve got you covered so your investment doesn’t walk down the aisle without you. iDoinsurance.co.uk helps make sure you’re not left out of pocket if ‘I do’ turns into ‘not today’.
Because your big day deserves backup.

Re-arrangement Cover

If your ‘I do’ gets delayed, don’t worry – we’ve got the sequel covered. Should your wedding be unexpectedly cancelled, you might want to reschedule the big day. With iDoinsurance.co.uk, we help cover the costs so you can plan your ‘happily ever after’ all over again – minus the extra stress.
Postponed vows not lost pounds.

Ceremonial Attire

If the ring vanishes, the dress meets red wine, or the best man loses his trousers before the ceremony – we’ve got you. All iDoinsurance.co.uk policies include cover for the accidental loss or damage of key wedding essentials. So, if before you walk down the aisle, the ring disappears, the dress takes a tumble, or a suit goes AWOL, you’re still covered (and calm). Because disasters can happen… even before the first dance!
For when ‘something borrowed’ was not supposed to be your suit.

Wedding Gifts

Gifts are great – until they go missing. With iDoinsurance.co.uk, your wedding gifts are covered up to seven days before the big ‘I do’, and twenty-four hours after. So, if something walks before you do, you won’t be left empty-handed.
For when the bottles of bubbly bolt before the bouquet toss.

Dental Checkups

Let’s face it – no one wants their florist folding before the flowers arrive. At iDoinsurance.co.uk, we cover you if your wedding supplier goes bust before the big day, so your dream wedding doesn’t turn into a DIY disaster.
If your supplier sinks, we help keep your big day afloat.

Our FAQ

Got questions? We've got answers

Nope - It’s a one-time payment. One and done, just like your vows (we hope!) Great cover, great value, no monthly fuss.

As soon as you’re putting money down - whether it is a deposit, a contract, or both. If there is cash on the line, it’s time to get covered (up to 24 months before the big day!). However, make sure you get your policy at no less that 14 days before the big day. No last minute ‘I do’s’ here!

Anyone can foot the bill - parents, pals, or the couple themselves - but the policy must be in the names of the two people tying the knot. After all, it’s their big day we are protecting!

Yes! Providing there is no drama brewing when you take out the policy, and it is within 24 months of the big day. If everything is running smoothly at the time, your deposit is protected from future hiccups.

Absolutely! As long as one of you is a UK resident, you’re good to go! Love knows no borders- and luckily, neither does our cover.

Whilst a change of heart, also called a ‘disinclination to proceed’ - is not something wedding insurance can cover, we understand how emotionally difficult that can be. Support matters, therefore you may be able to claim for professional counselling under section nine of your policy. We are here for the heartache, even if we cannot fix the fallout.

Yes - if a close family member bereavement makes it inappropriate to go ahead, you are covered under section one of our policy. Just be sure to complete the medical declaration before purchasing. If a relative has a known medical condition and it is flagged in the form, we won’t be able to cover claims related to this condition - but everything else is protected. Not sure where you stand? Give us a call on 0161 505 1420 before purchasing- we’re happy to help you get it right.

If your professional photos fail and there are no backups, you are covered. We’ll help with the reasonable costs of re-taking forma shots of you and your immediate wedding party. It is not the same as the real moment, but we will make sure you still have memories to frame!

In most cases - yes! Existing medical conditions for both the couple and their close relatives are usually covered automatically. However, if the condition has a terminal prognosis, is awaiting hospital treatment or investigations, or you are waiting on a test result, you’ll need to declare it to us first - and we’ll let you know if we can include it. If you are unsure, just give us a call on 0161 505 1420 - we are here to help you get the right cover - worry free.

If a supplier goes under - don’t panic. You can claim for any deposits you can recover, plus any reasonable extra costs to book and equivalent replacement. We have even spelled out exactly what counts as a wedding service supplier in your policy wording, so there are no surprises - just solutions.

Yes - you can claim for any deposits you cannot get back, plus any reasonable extra costs needed to secure a new venue. We know venues (and life) can be unpredictable, which is why we have detailed exactly what’s covered under ‘wedding service suppliers’ in your policy wording. We will keep the big day afloat! Even if the venue isn’t.

Yes! Public liability is included as standard, up to £2 million. Need a little extra? You can add an optional extension to cover your wedding party too - also up to £2 million. Or boost it even higher to £5 million if needed! We’ve got you (and your clumsy guests) covered.

Not under this policy - you’ll need separate travel insurance for that. It is designed to cover things like trip cancellations or travel mishaps, so your romantic getaway doesn’t come with unexpected detours.

Yes - there’s a £100 excess on most sections of the policy. For Public Liability (sections 12, 13 & 14), the excess is £250. So if things go sideways, you won’t be footing the entire bill.
